We would like to invite any Kelowna residents who are related to those fallen heroes whose names are listed on the Cenotaph to be recognized at the opening ceremonies on November 2nd. Respecting Social Distancing, individuals may pay their respects without large ceremonies until November 11.
This year we ask Families to bring their Kids to pay their respects, tour in small groups, learn about our heroes, and understand the meaning of Remembrance Day.

One of the key outcomes of our 2019 event was providing students an opportunity to walk among the crosses and research the information on the names. Local Grade 7 -9 classes had been invited to participate for the week leading up to Remembrance Day 2019. The field trips involved morning visits to the Field of Crosses site and the Okanagan Military Museum for 30 students each day, starting November 4th through to the 7th.
A Tribute to those who Served and Died for our Freedom.
